Medallion Signature Guarantee Service

First Community Federal Credit Union is an eligible Medallion Signature guarantor. If you hold securities in a physical certificate form and want to transfer or sell them, you will need to sign the certificates or securities powers. In most cases, you will need to get your signature "guaranteed" before a transfer agent will accept the transaction. This process protects you as the owner of the stock or certificate by making it harder for someone to forge your signature. Transfer agents insist on signature guarantees because they limit their liability and losses if a signature turns out to be forged. First Community FCU’s Securities Transfer Agents Medallion Program (STAMP) is endorsed by the Securities Transfer Association (STA). This service is only available at our Parchment main office, located at 550 South Riverview (269) 382-9845. Money Orders

Money orders provide a convenient alternative to writing your own check or withdrawing cash, up to $1,000 from your account to make a bill payment.

Traveler’s Cheques

Traveler’s Cheques are used in place of carrying cash while traveling. Insured if lost or stolen, these widely accepted cheques are able to be purchased in packs of various denominations, such as $20’s, $50’s and $100’s. There’s no worry and no expiration date when you choose this convenient and safe form of currency.

Travel Funds Direct

Traveling out of the country? We can help with Travel Funds Direct – foreign currency and traveler’s cheques shipped directly to your home or office. Unused funds may be easily refunded, and you’re locked in at the current rate of exchange prior to your travel date.

Free Notary Service

First Community Federal Credit Union features a commissioned Notary Public available at all branch locations. Notary service is provided free to members, and are authorized to verify identification and witness the signing of a variety of documents in accordance with current Michigan Notary Law.

Cashier’s Checks

See us when you need this official check drawn from your First Community account, providing guaranteed funds security when making important large purchases.

Wire Services

Often within the same day, funds can be electronically wire transferred into or out of your First Community account to get where needed, within the United States as well as many international locations.
